About my photography:
I shoot with a Nikon D3100.
I use my kit lens and a 50 mm 1.8 prime lens.
I owned my camera for a year before I decided to take a class and actually learn how to use it.
I haven't looked back since. I love photographing my boys and documenting our days.
I have a little obsession with editing (read: over-editing) and love applying filters to my photos.

I am an Aquarian. I feel drawn to, compatible with, and at ease with other Aquarians. Weird, I know.
My favorite food is Mexican food.
I really dislike spelling and think its totally over-rated.

I can play the violin, flute, and piano.
I started playing the violin when I was 3 years old. I quit playing in college which was a really stupid thing to do.
I love music festivals.
I love red wine.
I love hot sauce and salsa. The hotter the better.
I love food, and almost as much, I like talking about food in great detail and at great lengths.
My hobbies include photography, knitting, crocheting, spinning, embroidery, woodworking, sewing, needle felting, candlemaking, and really anything I can get my hands on.
I enjoy gardening and am slowly getting better at it.
I enjoy being sarcastic pretty much all the time.
I despise coffee.
In college I majored in Industrial Engineering. I’m not really sure why.
I have 1 sister. Shes 3½ years younger than me.
I hate driving and would truly love to have a chauffer.
I am a thrift store addict.
My favorite and most interesting job was being a dental assistant to an endodontist. I assisted with root canals all day long and loved it.
I consider my dog one of my best friends.
I have an entire closet full of vintage clothing that Ive never worn.
I havent owned a microwave in 8 years.
I once took an aerobic dance class with Mario Lopez.
I really dislike getting my hair cut.
I once attended groundhogs day and saw Punxsutawney Phil in person. It was a totally surreal and bizarre experience.
The best concert I ever saw was the Rolling Stones. A close second was Juanes, a Colombian musician.
I think Spanish love songs are ten thousand times better than American love songs.
Ive seen the Dead and their bands more than 10 times.
I talk to my dog a lot and treat him like a person. He sits on the couch, sleeps in my bed, comes on vacation with us, and my family buys him Christmas presents.
I really like bird watching. I’ve seen more than 15 types of birds in my own back yard.
I recently started studying to become a doula.
I met my husband in sixth grade English class. We got engaged 12ish years later.
We were engaged for more than 4 years which is a long time in the world of engagements.
Then we got married in a tree house.

I spent my honeymoon in the smoky mountains of Tennessee and I absolutely can not wait to go back.
