Its as good a day as any to bring the blog back (Two years and an additional child later!). This morning we went to nature group at the park. Both boys loved holding salamanders and flipping logs to look for bugs. This afternoon Samson learned to ride his bike.
It was pretty impressive. He got the hang of it on the second try.
I love his outfit. He came out to play wearing sweat pants, his Easter suit coat, and daddy’s Carhartt hat, and gloves. I love his style.
Today Samson asked me, “What does distinct meant?” Yesterday he asked, “What does outdated mean?”
Julian is repeating everything we say. He is also telling Samson’s favorite knock knock joke. Julian’s version goes something like this, “Knock knock, who’s there?”
And after repeating those two lines at least 10 times, he says “cow!”.
This past weekend we saw a show at the Masonic Temple. Julian sat on my lap and ate raisins the whole time. Samson took his raisins and climbed over the crowd to sit on the floor in the very first row. Afterwards Samson told me that Im the best mom ever. When I asked him what made him say that he said “because you take me to shows….. and all the places I like to go….. and to see people that I like (his cousins)”. Later that night he told me my eye shadow, otherwise known as “that stuff above my eyes”, looks really beautiful. Tomorrow we’re going to try biking somewhere besides the patio, and then go check out a potential preschool.
