A perfectly beautiful summer-like day, and those two beautiful faces have put me in just the right mood to finally get the blog going again. We had such a fun day yesterday – playing at the school play ground after school for hours, gardening, rope swinging, playing in the dirt, stripping down to underwear because its “SO HOT Mommy!”, letting the chickens out to get some sunshine, and eating lunch and dinner outside for the first time this year. Amazing! Samson picked flowers for the dinner table – and for my hair. After dinner we took the kids for a bike ride at the cemetery. Julian rode his push tricycle for the first time since Christmas 2 years ago. He loved it. Finally. Samson needed a few minutes to brush up on his riding but was going up and down hills in no time. Spring, I think, is finally here!
